Brite Payments, a leading provider of instant payments, sought an efficient solution to integrate their payment services into the Shopware 6 e-commerce system. Their goal was to provide Shopware customers with a fast, reliable, and easy-to-implement payment method, usable across Europe. Brite Payments connects to over 3,800 banks across Europe and covers 27 markets, and seamless integration with Shopware is an important step in expanding the availability of Brite Instant Payments to more merchants.
As software developers with extensive experience in e-commerce and custom Shopware plugin development, we were able to provide a tailored solution that met both the technical requirements and business goals of Brite Payments. Our services for this project included complete plugin development, covering everything from concept and programming to integration and long-term maintenance tailored to Brite Payments’ needs.

As part of this project, we developed a brand-new plugin to integrate Brite Instant Payments into Shopware 6. The plugin allows merchants to offer instant payments directly in their Shopware 6 stores, leveraging the speed and security of Brite Payments' account-to-account (A2A) payments solution. Particular focus was placed on user-friendliness and performance. The plugin is designed to be easy to configure and integrate into existing Shopware installations without technical hurdles. Additionally, the plugin's architecture ensures compatibility with future versions of Shopware 6, enabling long-term use. The project goals included not only the successful integration of the payment method but also ensuring a smooth workflow from checkout to payment processing. Through thorough testing and close collaboration with the Brite Payments team, we were able to achieve these goals and develop a solution that is efficient and intuitive for both merchants and end customers.
