The requirements from WEGMANN automotive were clearly defined: they needed a B2B partner shop that would not only ease the load on their sales team but also provide a channel to offer their products and services to customers through preferred platforms. At 426, we addressed these needs and contributed our extensive range of services as a technical partner. Our scope of services included project management, conceptualization, shop development, and ongoing support.

The main objective of the project was to relieve the sales team and provide customers with information and digital tools. The B2B partner shop was designed to strengthen the market dominance in core product categories, featuring WEGMANN automotive’s leading brands (HOFMANN POWER WEIGHT & ALLIGATOR), benefiting both WEGMANN as the manufacturer and its trading partners. We developed a B2B shop that enables customers to retrieve files and documents based on different permission levels. By supporting the integration of the SAP system and PIM system (Pimcore), we ensured seamless data exchange with the B2B partner shop. Customers also have the option to retrieve all product information offline.

An important aspect of the project was representing various roles through SAP and integrating them with the Shopware B2B suite. We implemented a two-step registration process to simplify sign-ups for the B2B partner shop while reducing administrative efforts.
